The Research & Development laboratories of BembergCell are focused on the creation and perfectioning of products that fulfil and anticipate the needs of the textile industry and the market trends. A specialised team works side by side with the clients to devise new yarns that can satisfy the need for new, modern and versatile materials and that can be used in new settings.

One of the new research trends on which we are working was started with the combination yarns Situssa, obtained combining acetate and polyamide fibres; on the basis of this product, a whole new range of Situssa, called Situssa PLUS, has been conceived and is being created. It combines the typical mechanical resistance and easy-care of this fibre with other distinctive properties.

At present the Situssa PLUS range of products, that already includes Situssa Fresh, Microsil and Silsoft has been enriched even further with two new additional products: Situssa TP (acetate mass dyed and polyamide mixed mass dyed) and Situssa with trilobate polyamide that ensure the textures keep their colours well and are fashionable.
