Twisting and covering

A part of the yarns produced by the BembergCell’s production units can be transformed by twisting. This has the purpose of keeping the fibres together, so as to protect them in the following stages of the transformation and/or confer a greater “slippery” touch to the final product. The BembergCell production structures are capable of creating a wide range of twistings that vary from 40 twistings/metre to 2400 twistings/metre and special products such as “frisottini” (twisted frizzy yarns), “compensine”, cords etc.
As well as this BembergCell produces covered yarns, made with elastomer to create elastic fabrics.
